More information has come out of the latest Nintendo Direct Presentation. The company said that Metroid Prime Federation Force is releasing in spring 2016 for 3DS.
Addressing these concerns, Metroid Prime series producer Kensuke Tanabe said that he had always intended for the multiplayer game to be part of the Metroid canon. He began the project because he wanted to explore the story of the conflict between the Galactic Federation and Space Pirates, a story Metroid star Samus Aran isn’t involved in.
Two other snippets came out of the presentation. First, it’s not just an action game; players will customise their builds to take on RPG-like roles as healer, DPS and more. Second, Luigi’s Mansion: Dark Moon developer Next Level Games assisted with production.
Alongside this announcement, a new trailer for the game was shared as well. You can check it out above. Excited for Metroid? Why wouldn’t you be it is a highly anticipated game.
On a related Nintendo news, it looks like Nintendo is planning to bring (rumored) Call of Duty: Bloodlines to NX. The game is under development at Infinity Ward as we speak and it being prepped for reveal at E3.
On top of that, rumor has it that Destiny 2 is heading to NX in late 2017 as well. All of these are rumors for the time being but as they say, where there’s smoke there’s fire.
Lots of news is expected at E3 so be ready for a massive show this June. What are your expectations from NX and in what way it should be different from Wii U? Let us know in the comments section below.
